School District 51 teachers may have the next great American leader attending their classes. His name is Isaiah Yeager.

The fifth grader at Chatfield Elementary School is trying to raise enough money to attend the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.

The group nominates only the best students across the country.

Isaiah's top notch grades and great leadership in school has gotten him noticed by people in Washington.

Problem is, he is about $2,000 short to get to the nation's capitol and needs more support.

Chatfield Elementary hosted a taco dinner fundraiser for him last week and he has an account at Coloramo Federal Credit Union, 516 28 Road, where donations can be made in his name.
