Denver Post no longer delivering weekdays to Western Slope

11 News has just confirmed with The Denver Post newspaper that they will no longer deliver to the Western Slope.

Post Spokesman Jim Nolan tells 11 News that after July 12 Mesa County residents will only get a print copy of the paper on Sundays.

Monday through Saturday the paper will only be available to Western Slope residents online only.

Nolan says the paper is dropping delivery to communities in the far corners of the state including Glenwood Springs, Durango and Alamosa.

If you have a subscription to The Denver Post it will automatically be converted to an online subscription.
