The U.S. Government is asking Americans to avoid non–essential travel to Mexico, but as for other areas, locals say they're still traveling.
Travelers and travel agents say aside from Mexico, the recent swine flu outbreak doesn't have them worried.
Travelers 11 News spoke with say they're taking their trips as usual.
A local travel agency says calls have been minimal, and customers are
mostly sticking to their plans.
The owner of Horizon Travel says if you do have to change plans, travel companies are very cooperative.
He says if you're traveling to Mexico between now and May 6th, you can change your travel plans any time before May 12th.
He expects that if the outbreak continues, travel companies will reassess their rescheduling rules on a week–by–week basis.
