Officials with School District 51 say they'll wait for cues from the Mesa County Health Department when it comes to swine flu precautions.
Jeff Kirtland says students and germs is already a daily concern, and teachers are following normal protocol.
Right now, the district is not implementing any changes, but says it is keeping an eye on the situation.
If swine flu were to become a local concern, the Health Department would tell schools when to stay open or shut down, and make all health-related executive decisions.
