Mesa County Sheriff Deputies have made their first Meth Lab Bust of the year.

Deputies say 26-year-old Jarrod Rutter has been arrested after investigators found a methanphetamine lab in his home located at 496 31 1/4 Road in Grand Junction.

The arrest happened Saturday. Rutter was booked into the jail on multiple felony charges related to the lab as well as parole violation.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents responded to clean up the scene. Officials aren't releasing any other information about Rutter's case at this time.

The last meth lab found in Mesa County in the fall of 2008 was a 'box lab' found in the trunk of a car.
