A group of local school children are getting a chance to paint with a true artist.
Nationally renowned artist Tony Ortega is helping the children at the
Dual Immersion Academy paint a mural for their school.
The mural is a painting of school children playing in the backdrop of the Grand Valley.
School officials say near 150 students will get a chance to paint with Ortega.
Students will continue to work on the mural all week.
When it's finished, it will be put on display in the Riverside Educational Center, just next door to the school itself.
