Owners of the planned gentleman's club met their final legal hurdle today, and they leaped past it.
After a public hearing Wednesday afternoon, the city approved Club Fantasy a liquor license.
Club owners have dealt with appeals from a local minister and were previously denied a building permit.
Now, the granting of a liquor license is the final legal step before the building begins for the establishment.
The controversial strip club has been debated for more than eight months and has been ruled on by the planning commission three times.
