With graduation upon us local law enforcement is sending out a stern warning to parents.
The Grand Junction Police Department and Mesa County Sheriff's office say they will be stepping up enforcement of underage drinking parties during graduation and parents caught supplying the alcohol could face up to $5,000 in fines, significant jail time, and lose their driver's license.
Officials are asking parents to let their underage graduates have fun, but without any alcohol.
