Mesa County teen leaders are taking a new approach to keep their peers out of trouble.

According to a District 51 survey, most teens say they drink because they have nothing to do.

The Mesa County Teen Leadership Commission is releasing a new pamphlet with activities for middle and high schoolers.

The guide is broken down by sports, music and entertainment and is available for kids and parents at several locations:
