A Grand Junction resident struck the jackpot winning a million dollars.
The winning Powerball ticket was sold at the City Market store in Orchard Mesa.
The grocery store will get a $3,000 bonus for selling it.
The lucky winner claimed the ticket this morning but doesn't want to be identified.
It looks like locals are scoring big. This latest win comes just weeks after seven gas station clerks in Montrose won $2.5 million.
