Grand Valley Transit's new operations center is set to open in a few weeks and it should make access to Downtown a lot easier.
The new facility is located on the southwest corner of 6th Street and South Avenue and will offer all riders a direct route to Downtown.
The operations center includes shelters, lighting, security cameras and a public waiting room with restrooms.
The project cost $4 million and officials say it will increase the longevity of the transit system.
Officials say ridership is at all-time high.
The new location is scheduled to open June 1.
