A Grand Junction widow was given a special gift at the Memorial Day service at Memorial Gardens.
A military honor guard did a flag presentation in full uniform for Berdeen Hotchkiss.
Hotchkiss recently buried her husband who was a World War II veteran.
Because of a scheduling conflict, she did not receive a flag so memorial gardens arranged for the presentation Monday afternoon.
Hotckiss says it meant the world to her.
"It really is good for me, I really appreciate it," Hotchkiss told 11 News.
Hotchkiss says she and her husband were married for almost 49 years.
