The Food Bank of the Rockies wants to remind you, hunger knows no season.
Food banks are always in need of your help, but the summertime is especially tough.
Employees with the food bank say during the summer, more families are in need of free food because children who usually get free and reduced lunches are out of school, and the food banks need to make up that difference.
For more information on how to donate items, like what the food bank needs and where to drop them off, you can call the county information line at 211.
