It's been more than 24 hours since a man was shot several times inside a local apartment building.

Today police are still looking for the shooter and they are not releasing any new details.

Just before 3 a.m. Sunday police say a man was shot six times at the chateau apartments at 1300 North 21st Street.

The man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Witnesses say they thought the gun shots were someone was banging on a swamp cooler and they were stunned to see a man bleeding in the hallway when they opened their doors.

Police are not releasing the victim's name but say he is in serious condition.

A suspect description has not been released either.
