Grand Junction Regional Airport set an all time record in the month of May with more than 21,000 passengers taking to the skies.
Officials say 21,534 people flew out of Grand Junction Regional Airport and that so far this year 87,896 people have passed through the airport.
That's a 14.8 percent increase over last year.
Airport officials believe the addition of two airlines and more flights to Las Vegas has contributed to the increase of passengers.
