Grand Junction Police say shooting suspect Robert Roy Rodriguez has turned himself in after more than a week on the run.
Rodriguez is the only suspect in a shooting at the Chateau Apartments in Grand Junction on May 31. Officers say a man there was shot six times before the suspect fled the scene.
The victim's name and condition have still not been released as officials say this is an ongoing investigation. A motive for the crime has not yet been announced.
Rodriguez turned himself into authorities Tuesday afternoon in the 2800 block of North Avenue. Rodriguez is facing attempted murder charges.
