After being laid off from Wal–Mart, a local man decided it's time to live out his dream and make a living under the sea.
Every Monday, the Orchard Mesa pool becomes 37-year-old Seth Davis' deep blue sea Training with his lifelong friend to become a dive–master.
His dream is to work in crystal clear waters for the rest of his life, "I want to go to the Caribbean, to Hawaii, and assist other dive trainers and help people under water," he says.
While he moves through the water with ease, he says he feels lucky to be alive each day.
Twenty years ago, he found himself in a coma after crashing his motorcycle.
He says he doesn't remember anything from the accident, all he knows is what his friend Shelley told police, "She says I was going 60 miles an hour, then I flew of my bike," remembers Davis, half of his body partially paralyzed.
His close friend and trainer Darrin Cook says to see him in the water doing what he loves is a miracle.
Now he is only weeks away from getting his latest scuba license, and get a passport to his dream job.
When he settles in below the border, he plans on finding himself a life-long dive buddy, a wife.
