The scenery at the Colorado National Monument usually comes with a fee but this weekend there will be no cost.
June 20 and 21 will be the first of three free weekends.
The other two are July 18 and 19 and August 15 and 16.
During these weekends the park fee is waived.
There will be a number programs happening throughout this weekend such as nature walks and learning sessions about the area.
Visitors can also take advantage of a 15 percent discount on all t–shirts in the bookstore at the Visitor Center.
There will still be a fee for camping in the area.
