Xcel Energy customers can expect a drop in their natural gas bills next month over this month.
Company officials say residential customer bills will decrease by 12 percent and small–business customers will see a 24 percent cut in July over June.
The lower bills are more than 29 percent lower than July 2008.
The reason for the lower bills, customers are expected to use less natural gas in July.
