With unemployment numbers rising and incomes falling, people on edge about their financial future got some help Saturday at a free financial seminar at Mesa Mall.
Marv Meeker is heading out of retirement and went to the seminar seeking advice about a starting a woodworking business, “Well I'm starting a business now because I hate to lay around and I'm at an age where I can still work but would like to be more working for myself.”
Primerica and other local business were on hand most of the day handing out free financial education and as Lynn Alexander with Primerica explains, Marv wasn’t the only one trying to make a plan for a new financial future, “We're helping people plan for retirement, get out of debt and protect their lives in the meantime.”
Primerica says it will give a free financial needs analysis to anyone who missed the financial fair. You can call them at 254-9854 or click the link below this story for more information.
