A man accused of performing sexual acts on a child is headed for trial.
34-year-old Daniel Lyons pleaded not guilty to six counts of sexual assault on a child and one count of child abuse.
In January, Lyons tried to drive his van off the Colorado National Monument, but got caught on a rock.
Court documents show he had been under investigation for child sex assault prior to that incident.
Lyons trial is set to begin in November.
