Would you recognize the signs of child abuse?
The Mesa County Health Department is hosting a free information meeting for the public to help people recognize the signs of child abuse, how to report it, and what happens after a report is made.
The training session is Wednesday night starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Mesa County Community Services Building, 510 29 1/2 Road.
Professionals mandated by law to report suspected abuse and neglect are encouraged to attend. Certificates of completion are available.
