The public is invited to an Open House regarding the Access Plan being developed by area government agencies.
The Colorado Department of Transportation, Mesa County, the City of Fruita and the City of Grand Junction have invited the community to an open house regarding the Access Plan being developed. The plan includes the secion of US 6 between the Redlands Parkway and 12 Road and SH 139 N1/4 Road and I-70.
There will be two open houses. The first is Wednesday, June 24 at Mesa Mall in the old Corral West location between 4 and 7 p.m. The other is Thursday, June 25 at the Fruita City Hall.
Representatives form the agencies as well as the project's consultant, Hartwig & Associates, will be available to answer questions and take comments about the plan.
The US 6 West/SH 139 Access Plan will assess all exissting and proposed intersections and driveways along the highway and, if appropriate, make recommendations for changes.
