The intersection at 1–70B and 23 Road is adding some red, yellow and green improvements.
New stop lights are part of a construction plan that also includes concrete medians, additional merging lanes, curbs, and gutters.
The improvements are expected to be completed in mid–July.
Until then, the speed limit has been reduced to 40 miles per hour.
The price tag on the project is just over $840,000.
