A local couple recently donated $500,000 to Hospice; they were recognized for their generosity Sunday.
The lobby of the Hospice Care Center was dedicated Sunday afternoon to Kenneth Leis and Kathy Hall-Leis for donating the largest gift in the 16 year history of the organization.
Kathy says they were prompted to make the donation because they appreciate everything hospice does for our community, “What a dream to have this land of facility and how much it'll mean to families in the future,” she says.
The money will help ensure that the care center will continue to be a welcome place for patients and families during difficult times in their lives.
