A survey out from the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce shows local businesses are a less confident in our local economy.

Feedback says about two–thirds of chamber business members consider our local economy to be very weak.

Business owners cited lower consumer confidence and perceptions of a weak economy.

As well, many say those issues may end up taking a deeper effect on local companies, like more pending layoffs.

But it's not all bad, 40 % think sales will remain steady and or improve from here on out.
