Crews will attack a fire burning on the Bookcliffs again Thursday morning.

BLM officials believe it was caused by lightning.

The blaze has now scorched around 100 acres in Hunter Canyon which is about 15 miles north, northwest of Grand Junction.

Two engines, an air tanker, a helitanker, and 15 BLM firefighters remain on scene.

Officials say the fire is burning in a remote area that has a lot of natural barriers that are helping contain the fire.
