An American Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing at Grand Junction Regional Airport yesterday.
According to a passenger on the plane it was headed to San Francisco from Chicago when a passenger smelled smoke in the back.
The passenger tells us there was no visible smoke though.
After landing, the Grand Junction Fire Department inspected the plane.
Passengers were taken off and another plane was brought in to get them to San Francisco.
