Crews responded to the Grand Junction Regional Airport around 10 a.m. Friday after getting a report a small plane had to make an emergency landing due to unsafe landing gear.

Officials say the plane made a safe landing just before 11 a.m. One person was on board the private plane.

It's the third emergency landing at the airport in the past few weeks.
