Organizers are gearing up for the Fruita Fall Festival and need your help.

If you know someone who has gone above and beyond for the Town of Fruita, nominate them to be the Grand Marshall of the Fruita Fall Festival Parade! Nominations are accepted through August 10 at the Fruita Chamber of Commerce. You can mail or drop off a detailed, written description of what this person has acoomplished in their life, citing as many examples as possible.

The Chamber is located at 432 E. Aspen Avenue in Fruita. You can also email your nomination or marylou@fruitachamber.org.

And the annual Bed Race is also part of the Fruita Fall Festival fun. There's prize money and trophies at stake. This year's theme is Legends of the West and anyone can participate. Call 970-858-3894 or click the link below for bed race rules and an application.
