An open house Downtown this Thursday will show off the 'new look' for Main Street.
A conceptual design for the four blocks of Main Street between 3rd and 7th Streets has been approved. The design is the result of technical evaluation, and community and merchant feedback.
This new design calls for basic improvements to the infrastructure, a concrete curve, tree replacement, and increased pedestrian space and amenities in all four blocks.
You can check out the new look at this Thursday's Downtown Farmers' Market Festival at the 6th & Main Street intersection from 5 - 8:30 p.m. Downtown officials will be accepting comments, input and suggestions from the community.
