Grand Junction police are investigating an overnight car fire they say was arson. It happened around 2:15 a.m.

Firefighters arrived to find a Honda Accord fully engulfed in flames at 494 Harris Road.

They quickly knocked down the fire before it spread to a nearby car.

Now police are trying to figure out what happened, though they do say it was arson and know an accelerant was used.

Police questioned three people at the scene and say they’re of interest in the case.
