An update now to the fire we've been following near the Colorado–Utah border--this afternoon, the flames continue to spread.
The BLM says the wildfire, near Baxter Pass, is about 1,000 acres.
Firefighters say its in rocky, steep terrain so they're battling it mostly from the air.
No one has been injured and no structures are threatened but the BLM is keeping a close eye on oil and gas facilities in the area.
Officials believe the fire was sparked by lightning on Tuesday afternoon.
