Well, luck is definitly in the air in Colorado this summer. Swarms of ladybugs have invaded parts of the state following an extra wet spring.
In a neighborhood where everyone looks after each other, the 4 year olds are the first to spot trouble.
One resident said there were just swarms of ladybugs, and they were impossible to ignore.
In fact, in higher alitudes, there are so many ladybugs hanging out on the trees, the trees look like they have red bark.
One resident notes, "If you kill a ladybug, it's guaranteed to bring rain the next day. Just by walking around up here I think we're guaranteed for rain for days to come."
A ladybug will lay more than 1,000 eggs in her lifetime.
