Free Spay and Neutering Offered

One cat and her offspring can produce almost 420,000 offspring in seven years, many of those ending up in shelters.

In the United States pet over population results in the unnecessary killing of millions of adoptable animals, the friends of The Aspen Animal Shelter are trying stop this by offering free spay and neuter services for dogs and cats.

500 certificates, for dog and cat spay or neuter, will be handed out on a first come first serve basis in Mesa County at participating organizations. Certificates are valid for one year.

Craig Veterinary Hospital (Craig 824-9629)

Certificates also available through Mesa County Animal Services 242-4646 and Friends of Aspen Animal Shelter and must be used only at participating veterinary offices.
