Grand Junction Police are investigating a 'suspicious death' this morning.

The investigation is focused on the house at 2990 1/2 Summerbrook Drive in Grand Junction.

Sometime after 11 p.m. Monday night, a man was reported to have died by a gunshot wound.

The only thing Grand Junction Police will confirm is that there is a suspicious death investigation. Our crew on the scene says a body was taken out of the house this morning before 7 a.m.

11 Today Reporter Lisa McDivitt was there and spoke with the next door neighbor in what she calls a quiet neighborhood. The neighbor told her she didn't hear anything under fire trucks and ambulances arrived outside the house. The woman also described her neighbors as private people.
