MONTROSE COUNTY - Hotshot crews are en route to a fire burning northwest of Norwood in Montrose County.
The fire, spotted shortly after 2 p.m. this afternoon, is putting off a strong column of smoke on the south side of San Miguel Canyon, and has come within a mile of homes.
The fire, origin currently unknown, had burned about 100 acres as of 5 p.m., according to Interagency Fire Dispatch.
