The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says a text message sparked a fight that landed four people behind bars.
Deputies arrested 24–year–old Mathew Williford, 19–year–old Jermey Justus, 19–year–old Breanne Arabie and 20–year–old Preston Jones.
According to an arrest affidavit, Williford got in a fight with Arabie's brother and pointed a gun at him and several people in the area of 32 and D 1/2 Roads.
Deputies say Willford then jumped in the car with his three friends but arrested them just down the road.
Williford, Justus, Arabie and Jones were being held in the Mesa County Jail Saturday night without bond awaiting their first court appearance.
