Clifton Man Arrested for Vandalism Spree

A Clifton man is behind bars after deputies say he led teens on a crime spree.

19–year–old Andrew Rogers is facing more than a dozen charges including auto theft, criminal mischief and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to an arrest affidavit, he led minors to destroy property of Rocky Mountain Elementary School, smash several mailboxes with bats and steal a car.

Investigators say there are atleast 15 victims who had property vandalized by Rogers.

The 19–year–old was being held on Sunday in the Mesa County Jail on a $22,500 bond.
