The Mesa County Fair is almost here. From 4-H and FFA livestock exhibits and auctions, to barn tours and a carnival there is something for everyone.

And to go along with some of the other classic fair attractions like the demolition derby and bull riding, fair officials say you can expect to see a couple new features this year.

“The Amazing Rainforest Experience is new this year. It's an environmentally oriented show with rainforest animals. The woman that does the show does it all on horseback, so that's kind of interesting,” says Donna Page, the Mesa County Fair Coordinator.

The Amazing Rainforest Experience is free with general admission and runs three times a day.

With the environment in mind, if you ride your bike or take your bus to the fair you can get in for free, the mesa county landfill is offering dollar off coupons if you take your recycling there, and the Mesa County Fair is offering dollar off coupons on their website. The fair starts Tuesday July 21st and runs through Sunday July 26th.
