Grand Junction is one step closer to having more options to find their 'wings.'
Construction on a new shopping center that will include a Hooters restaurant starts Monday.
The restaurant mega-chain known for it's wings, and it's skimpy orange and white outfits worn by waitresses will be part of the new plaza at North Avenue across from Wal Mart.
Developers say, in addition to Hooters, the 58,000 square foot center will be home to a sub shop, an insurancy agency, a dry cleaners, a tanning salon, and a few other restaurants.
