Grand Junction could be the next site for a mercury storage facility and the Department of Energy wants to hear your opinion in a meeting tomorrow.

The Department of Energy has between 7,500 and 10,000 metric tons of mercury that it's trying to find a home for.

Mesa County is one out of seven areas officials are looking at.

The meeting will be at the Two Rivers Convention Center Tuesday night from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

After the meeting the DOE will decide whether to pursue the proposal further.
