Officials closed one lane of eastbound I-70 near Horizon Drive until midnight Tuesday while officers investigated a rollover crash.
The Grand Junction Police Department says about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the driver of an Oldsmobile Bravada swerved into the center median, overcorrected, and rolled into the fence at the edge of the Bookcliff Country Club Golf Course.
A male passenger riding in the back seat was ejected from the car. Officials say he suffered broken bones, but his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
The driver, 18-year-old Christopher Greff, had to be removed from the vehicle by emergency crews. Officials say he and a front seat passenger only sustained minor injuries.
All three passengers were taken to the hospital.
Investigators were trying to determine if alcohol played a role in the crash and say charges could be pending.
