The Western Colorado Botanical Gardens releases fifty live butterflies into the Butterfly House.
The butterflies were released Saturday afternoon, much to the delight of spectators, young and old.
The butterflies landed on the hands, shoulders, and heads of many of the spectators, before taking off into the tropical garden.
The Butterfly House is one of only 250 of its kind in the country.
