The Colorado Fraternal Order of Police says it's deeply sorrowed over the death of Montrose Police Sergeant Kinterknecht and the wounding of Officers Witte and Ragsdale.

The organization has set up a memorial fund on behalf of Sergeant Kinterknecht’s family. Donations and checks should be made to:
Colorado State Lodge FOP
Public Safety Awareness Foundation
RE: Montrose Sgt David Kinterknecht
2701 West 84th Avenue Suite #211
Westminster, Colorado 80031

All donations received will be transferred to the family. It's important that any donation be referenced specifically to Sergeant Kinterknecht so the money makes it into the proper account. Any donation is tax deductible. For the Tax ID number, call 303-591-3842.
