A local riverfront project is being featured in a new documentary on Rocky Mountain PBS.
It details the 20 plus years of the creation of more then 30 miles of Riverfront Trails and more than 100 acres of parks, open spaces and wildlife sanctuaries along the Colorado and Gunnison rivers in the Grand Valley.
But, reclaiming the riverfront has been a long a difficult road.
Rocky Mountain PBS is playing the documentary four times a day, every day this week.
Copies are also available at the Mesa County Public Library.
