The Mesa County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of one shooting victim in the Clifton shooting last night that killed one and injured three others. Authorities say Marco Ramon Acosta-Estrella received multiple gun shots and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Mesa County Coroner. His death has been ruled a homicide.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, two suspects are in custody and are believed to be the only people involved. They say the motive is still under investigation.
They say Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m. shots were fired at 468 Mae Street in Clifton, wounding four people. Three were transported to the hospital. They have been treated and released.
Authorities say they will not release the names of the suspects or the identities of the other victims as this is an active investigation.
