Mesa State College announces exciting new details for its Human Performance Laboratory.
Wednesday morning, College President Tim Foster introduced Dr. Bill Sands as the new director of the lab.
Sands is a former world–class Olympic athlete, as well as a highly experienced scholar in the area of sports medicine and human performance.
Sands says the college is making big investments in the laboratory, which will soon have the potential to turn it into an internationally renowned learning and research center.
Sands was formerly the Head of Sport Biomechanics and Engineering for the US Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs and says he's excited to be on board with Mesa State College.
