Investigation continues into Clifton shooting

The investigation into an alleged murder Tuesday night continues this morning.

Mesa County Deputies have arrested two suspects in connection to the shooting in Clifton.

But they are not releasing any information about the suspects.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at an apartment on Mae Street, just of D ¾ Road.

Neighbors heard gunshots and called 911.

Deputies say shots were fired at a house and four people were rushed to the hospital.

Fifty year-old Marco Ramon Acosta-Estrella of Mexico was killed. The coroner says he died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death has been ruled a homicide.

Authorities have not identified the other three victims but say they have been released from the hospital.
