The Mesa County Sheriff's Department has confirmed the identities of the two suspects involved in the shooting in Clifton Tuesday night.
Officials say Michael James Simpson, 24, has been arrested in connection with the shooting that left one person dead and three others wounded. He could face charges of 1st degree murder and assault, among others. His bond has been set at $1 million.
The second suspect, Joshua Eugene Cole, 25, is facing six charges, including obstructing justice and possession of a dangerous weapon. He could also face accessory to murder charges. His bond has been set at $500,000.
The two are being held in connection with the Tuesday night murder of 50-year-old Marco Ramon Acosta-Estrella of Mexico. Officials say the victim was at a child's birthday when the shooting happened. Authorities say three others were also injured, but their identities have not been released. They were all released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
